First, let’s dispel one common myth: You do not need to be flexible to do yoga. Increased flexibility is a benefit of yoga, not a prerequisite. If you aren’t flexible now that’s all the more reason to come! Some of our classes will warrant some current flexibility and strength but others will require VERY minimal. Variations will be offered and props are used to bring the ground to you. Yoga is a process of increasing strength & flexibility.
Ok, now that we’ve cleared that up…
Please arrive for class on time (5 – 10 minutes before the starting time). Pre-registration is not required for weekly ongoing classes. If you’re a new student, please arrive 15 minutes early so you have plenty of time to check-in with teacher, complete the waiver and settle in. If you are a brand new beginner, we recommend participating in a Beginner Series but you are welcome to begin taking ongoing classes at any time.
